Abstract: |
Cold spray technique has the advantages over the conventional thermal spray technique, accordingly it is expected that the alternative technique of thermal spray. In order to achieve the practical use of it, we must understand deposition mechanism and adhesion strength between substrate and deposition. In this study, we carried out tensile adhesion tests of aluminum deposition on the aluminum substrate. The results were discussed with bonding mechanism of deposition. Moreover, in order to discuss the difference of mechanical properties between bulk aluminum materials, obtained results have compared with that of bulk material. From those results, we will suggest the theoretical bonding strength based on the deposition mechanism.
