Electron beam characterization using standardized beam parameters becomes more and more applicable in production. Fast and automated image capturing and processing in an easily operated software allow verification of beam parameters during maintenance of EB welding machines. It will be reported about the recent experiences of applying the beam profile measurement as a service tool in production.
